I am wanting a beautiful red door but will it go with brown shutters. Thinking of black shutters but what color door would be nice with brown shutters? Please help..

designmuse Pretty house! I love red doors. Recently painted mine Caliente by Benjamin Moore. Dinner party by BM is nice too. I also painted my shutters black but I think brown would look good too. Good luck!

houssaon A light tan colored shutter would also stand out against the brick: HDA Project 907 and Traditional Front Porch.

Brown and red are a good combination. These shutters are a rich brown: RJ Elder Design.

Walker Woodworking I think a red door would look great with your home, as suggested above a warm-based red would look best.

janishill Hi LaToya. You have a beautiful home. It looks like your roof is a dark grey. I am uncertain what color your brick is though. Can you post a close up of it?

The first thing I would do is paint the garage doors a color similar to the brick so the eye would be drawn to the front door rather than the garage.
