Sift thru the pics on Houzz for narrowing down your choices...I think that will help u determine a more definitive answer on the style and colors u want to pursue!! :)

All 4 Show, LLC What about an accent wall behind the bed? I agree, that the rug is traditional, so if the contemporary/modern style suits u better, then a change would be in order. But, if eclectic is where u r going, it can still work...

sondramartina Headboard is not very high but pictures don't look good there so I was considering painting that wall. What color? Right now is Angora -Sherwin. Williams
