Help! I don't know where to start
The front door is so awkwardly positioned...I don't know how to add curb appeal... We have a budget of 10k

Bond Girl $10 K is a big budget. I'd paint the exterior, something more neutral. Then widen out the walk-way up to the door so it goes out to the end of the house. If you are going with traditional, put shutter on the windows, and a post at the end of that over hang down to the newly widened walk-way. I'd like to see the light pulled off the ceiling of the over hang, and put next to the door (nothing too small), and a planter placed under it. Paint the door, that should be your bright color, so people are drawn to it. It is a little hard to tell too much from this pic, so if you need more advice, I'd suggest posting more pictures, and I'm sure you'll get more suggestions. Good luck!

judyg You should accentuate the front door and change the paint color.

Bond Girl What direction you go depends on what appeals to you. You've got a pretty basic box there. It can be anything you want it to be! Sound like a fun project. Here's a couple options ranging from traditional to modern. If you don't like this, get on houzz and search for front doors. You'll find lots of amazing options, and be able to figure out what appeals to you.

Dar Eckert I agree Judyg the yellow photo would work well and I can't believe I'm saying this. Add shutters.

You can work with the color and use the money to add a portico over the door.

houssaon I like the color and agree, what you need is a portico to cover the stoop and bring more attention to the front door.

Is this a two family house?
