Kitchen Pendant lighting help!
We just renovated this kitchen and need help deciding what kind of pendant lighting to use. We will need lighting in three places
1) above white kitchen island
2) above seated black granite breakfast bar and
3) above walnut dining table that has white chairs
You can see all three areas at once so I assume they would need some continuity? I had always pictured a large white mid-century type fixture over our dining table but I am second guessing it. We haven't decided on window coverings or art yet so maybe that will help. It looks very 'cold' right now. Help!

Dytecture This is a great renovated space. Personally I would add something more hand crafted so to create some balance with all the sleek and clean lines of the kitchen.

Interiors International, Inc. I absolutely love your kitchen. I would use hand blown colorful glass pendants. You can usually find varying sizes that either match or coordinate together.

whi7 You could just match the stainless steel appliances.

sluggodog Love, love your kitchen...I love the clear glass ball pendents I'm seeing lately, and totally see them in your kitchen. You can put a grouping of smaller ones over the table, and individual larger ones on the island (or vice versa). I included a few different kitchens with the variations, all using the clear glass pendents. The first kitchen is a Candice Olson design.

Leslie Kreger Gorgeous reno! I, too, would go with some sort of clear glass globe pendant. Good luck! Can't wait to see what you decide!
