Any ideas on how to use this space under the stairs?

I would make a built in cabinet if you need the storage with a door. I even saw a picture one time of a cute little built in dog house. Or, you could just close it up. Have a Merry Christmas!

It all depends on your what you would like to do, how much space you have, and your budget.

A few interesting ideas - for office, storage, entertaining or wine storage, or...... [houzz=

All great ideas as we all need that little extra cubby. Has anyone seen the staircase where the space has been drywalled, and then each stair riser becomes a drawer? So clever.

I once saw a picture of a staircase library where all of the risers were bookshelves

I have my sewing space under the stairs and in the dead end space under the back of my basement stairs. I have backwards stairs underneath for storage...each level has a shallow shelf out to the back edge of the stringer. It is surprisingly handy which is the reason I don't have a good photo since you can't see them clearly now.
