orangecamera Are you retrofitting this exact kitchen for serious cooks? If it were mine, I'd be bothered by the sink being so far from the range. Where is the fridge?

Great question, there is a sink on the Wood Island directly across from the range.

There are two draw fridges in the Wood island as well as two sub zero fridges on the right of the image (unfortunately you can't see them in this photo)

Appreciate you bringing that up because those are very important when designing and building a kitchen.

Toni Sabatino I am glad you have a marble counter. So many people are afraid of marble in the kitchen. It is elegant and particularly useful for baking. I love the sideboard behind the wood island, so useful for entertaining and quite lovely. I would be more inclined to have a sink on the marble counter as opposed to the wood and am curious how the main refrigerators and clean up area integrate into the overall design.

orangecamera Vince, thanks for the reply. I thought the sink was all the way down by the window. Seems like this kitchen has everything. What do your clients think of it?

Two things I especially like are the different chandeliers, and the smaller window up by the ceiling.

Fratantoni Luxury Estates Thanks for the responses everyone!

Our clients like the dark browns and the different aspects of depth we brought out in this kitchen.

They are looking at doing a similar style room with a different type of ceiling that incorporates different brick patterns.

Can't wait to see how it turns out!!

orangecamera Hi Vince. Just a thought that its a shame that beautiful view is so far from the main cooking, considering your clients are the cooks. In the upcoming project, if there is a way to orient things so someone at the stove can also see the view, I would find that preferable.

Then again, I've been living with a windowless kitchen for 12 years, and in a few weeks finally moving to a house with a kitchen window (first on my short list if must-haves). So maybe I'm over-sensitive to the issue. My entire house would likely fit into the kitchens you design!
