Need help choosing granite color.
Need help deciding the right granite color for kitchen countertop. I am thinking of Bianco antico for the rest of kitchen and maroon coheba for island with cooktop.Also the bar height over the cooktop island is too high we are thinking of chopping it down so it could be one level instead of two levels.but aim so confused.also backsplash ideas.

Cynthia Taylor-Luce I agree with removing the shelf on your island. It will look much nicer. However, be aware that you'll need to do something with the wiring that's just about counter level in the picture. Your cabinetry might have to be changed to accommodate safe inclusion of outlets on the sides. Your countertop choices sound nice. Can't see the backsplash area, though.

Carolina Photo To Go LLC I would take a drawer to the granite shop and choose one that picks up some of the color of the wood with cream. There are so many beautiful ones out there.
