Light filled loft, window needs some help
At the top of our second floor staircase, we have a beautiful loft with a huge south facing window that gets a lot of light. The space serves as an extension of our bedroom - mostly a reading room. I want to retain the amount of light, but the large window is lacklustre and the space just feels like its lacking something. Also, the loft has a neat cut out balcony overlooking the kitchen dining area, so the window itself is difficult to reach. Any advice?

Interiors International, Inc. You could do something with window treatments but I wouldn't. I think that the sectional needs to be lightened up a bit. It looks so dark. If you put a lot of light colored pillows in some bright patterns the sofa will look much better and the window won't seem like a problem.
