I need help with an "L" shaped living room
I'm totally clueless on how design my living room space. I have a 1 year old and I'd like to create a play area for her. Help, what do I do with all this space?

decoenthusiaste Start with more light - we can't really see what is going on here. You need floor, table and ceiling lights. I see to wall sconces and that is not sufficient.

moakabash Ok. It's night here. I'll take more pictures during the day to give a better view. I just moved in last month. I'm yet to put up curtains, I'm confused about colors. I'd like to have a console somewhere, a play area, a dining area and a TV area.

Manon Floreat Based on what I can see of your space, attached is a floor plan that may work for you. I've used the alcove next to the dining area as a play area for your daughter. I thought that might be a good area since it looks like there may be storage for toys under the stairs.

You'll have to think about the colors you like and the feel you want your space to have. Based on that we can make specific recommendations for your decor.

You're lucky to have such a spacious home!
