What color if we change it? Keep the current colors?
Current trim is pink on yellow. Beautiful oriental gardens and pathways.

houssaon I would change the pink trim to white or off-white.

A. Peltier Interiors Yes, paint your trim another color. Either stay light and neutral with the base of the house (swiss coffee) and do a taupe/beige on the trim or reverse it and do a nice rich color on the house and a creamy trim. The second suggestion wold probably be the better because you don't have a ton of trim. If you had a lot of trim around windows and so forth it would create a nice architectural feature to have the trim be dark and the house Light. A color for the house you might consider is : BM Berkshire beige AC-2. Good luck, I think you will really like the impact a little paint has on your home!

Peg Silverwood Take a look at the colors in your landscape and pay attention to the cement and hard non natural features that surround your home. What colors in the landscape would tone and soft the drive and walls? Do you want a warm look or a cool look? From answering this question your can determine which color family to start with.

Rhonda H I think a gray color with white trim would be gorgeous! With the landscaping, a darker color would look good!

MAlps I would do the house a greenish khaki color, btw what color is the door?

Barbara Griffith Designs I would agree with Rhonda H, I think a gray, but a warm gray would be nice. I would first beef up your trim. Adding wider, detailed trim around windows and garage doors and soffits would do wonders for this home even a molded panel under the large window would add detail that is missing here, and this is inexpensive too. The trim should be a lighter shade, but not too light. Also, be sure to first buy quart sizes of the paints you like and paint large poster boards then hold them up in differ places and in different light..color is all about light. Then look at them from the road. Good Luck.

cyn222 I would change out the pink and go with something that will pop the mulch/stone color in planting beds if you want just a simple change. Great area to add some mounding evergreens to create a more lush oriental garden area.

Aja Mazin What is that stuff in your front yard???

LM Designers So many opinions, how will you choose? I agree with houssaon white or off white. Nice and crisp.

agreenwood The stuff in the front yard is rare oriental driftwood , the guy who lived there before was fromChina

kitasei I assume when people say white they don't mean a true white. I don't think "crisp" is what you're after. The colors should all be found in the magnificent landscape setting.

Peg Silverwood What color tones are you drawn to? Do you like your home with a light tones as you currently have or are you looking for some warmth? I love Benjamin Moore paints here are 2013 picks from their website.
