What colour rug would unify this space?
Christine Robertson
December 30, 2012 in Design Dilemma
I am looking for suggestion about a rug to unify the seating area.

I am thinking I will use blue as my accent colour, that why I have put the blue cushion on the couch. I think I need quite a large rug and I was considering something like these???
What do you think? Any other ideas??

I think before we can comment accurately, we need to see pictures of the room the rug will be going in.

I forgot to attach an image of the room, sorry. It is a large room and the area where I want to place the rug is in the centre. One side has a dining room table and the other will have a bookcase, small desk and another sofa. The room is painted in a neutral white, floora re cork, window treatments are timber blinds and I think I will use blue as an accent colour.

thanks for any help.

My first choice would be the rug in the fourth pic, love that one!

I found a rug I like. And I have ordered a new TV unit. It will come in a couple of weeks.
