Doreen's Before and after Kitchen!
doreenflys
December 30, 2012 in Before & After
I designed my kitchen myself with Ikea softwear. I had so many ideas! I told my husband to "Trust Me" with my design and hours of hard work and so he did. The kitchen turned out just the way we wanted and the way I personally needed it to flow... under budget! I used Ikea cabinetry,(Watch for their wonderful Kitchen Sales!!) Ikea butcher block counter tops, Ikea range hood, Ikea farm sink, a pot filler over the stove, a GE gas range (LOVE IT), granite I picked out myself from a left over pile, Samsung counter depth refrigerator & dishwasher and a built in under the island microwave. My back splash was made of a stacked stone found at Lowes. All this was all put together by the help of Coastline Services in Ponte Vedra, Florida. They did a wonderful job and let me come up with all the ideas. The cost of our finished kitchen with all the appliances was under $18,000.
If you want a beautiful kitchen under your budget, keep in mind that selecting different named appliances and mix and matching is the key! It all looks great in the end!
Enjoy our before and after photos!

WOW! Nicely done! Love the stacked stone... We chose a stacked mosaic marble backsplash for our kitchen, and I love it. Have you sealed it to protect it from grease, pasta sauce etc? Enjoy your new space...

Gorgeous! What a great job. I must confess, I had to look up what a "pot filler" was. Now I know... What a great idea. Why doesn't everywhere have one!?

Great job! Just curious, what made you decide to put the range in the corner. It is not the most common placement so I was interested in hearing how it worked out best for you in your kitchen. Thanks!
