This is a house that is in foreclosure and I can't pass the deal up! The only thing is I can't figure a design that would revamp the exterior front! Can y'all give me ideas please!!!? Thanks!

Will this be your home? What is your budget? Take down the awnings when you sign the papers. :>)

Paint it a light neutral color or all white and replace the awnings with a pergola.

I would consult an architect to design a porch for your home. Porches make homes sell faster and you will be able to enjoy it as well. Does not look like that is a standard chimney - it would improve the house to have it rebuilt. Pic is difficult to see though.

I would reside it in a different color. Add shutters, new windows, and door. Add a stoop with a covering over it. Either use posts or large brackets to support the stoop covering. Landscape with rounded plants across the front.

I would repaint, add shutters, remove awning, and do some landscaping. I like Judy's pergola idea! Cute house by the way- congrats! :)

i vote for a porch addition, unless you are looking for very low budget ideas, which I think limits choices to cosmetic fixes, like paint and some plants and flowers in the yard. Do you get to inspect a home during a foreclosure sale? If you decide on porch addition, I think putting some "modern Craftsman style" design in the porch and house trim might improve it a lot. I've seen some small houses that were redone in this style and they looked very nice.
