My entire house is covered in honey oak, what can I do?

jhigh99December 31, 2012
What do you do with a TON of honey oak? It's cost prohibitive to paint all of the woodwork in the house. Looking for ideas on ways to decorate to downplay it or ways to work with it. See the attached pic.
Thanks!!!

Your wood work is lovely but yes there is a lot of it. Have to say I would paint a lot of it

Could you wallpaper the back of your bookcases?

What about a big mirror over your fireplace instead of that small artwork. That would hide more of the wood.
