Natalie [Hi---I suggest a coral pink hue for the walls to coordinate with the bedding and carpet. Lighter paint on the beds and dressers would be more favorable, but this is workable. Color in pic is Coral Pink 2003-50 by Ben Moore---a Sherwin Williams comparable would be SW 6591 Amaryllis... Check these as well---SW 6592 Grenadine, SW 6584 Cherry and SW 6585 Coming Up Roses. Good Luck! houzz=][houzz=
Sarah Yama Either the walls or furniture should be white . If you keep those quilts then I agree with coral pink walls but change furniture to white or it will be overwhelming. White it very contemporary today and you can easily update old furniture with it and it will last thru teen and adult years
Natalie I would forgo the tan/khaki because of the carpet color. Perhaps I'm getting a different read on my monitor but it looks into a pinky/peach -sand hue, is that correct? If you could upload more pics (better lighting) that would be great. :)
Gabberts Design Studio Because the furniture looks to be painted a yellowish finish, I would suggest a pale yellow or orange to compiment the furniture.
pillz I agree with pink if you change the furniture to white. If you're keeping the furniture yellow, I would go with cream colored walls. You could always paint the ceiling pale pink to make it interesting.
eztia Have you asked the girl what SHE wants? Take the tote bag or the pillow cover to the paint store. Choose a handful of paint chips. Tape them on the walls and look at them at different times of day and in natural and artificial light. Make tiny notes right on the paint chip. When you are down to two choices, buy the sample containers of paint. Get two pieces of white poster board. Paint each one one of the colors. Same process as with the chips. It takes a little bit of time, but you will be happier with the results.
Ask the girl what she thinks about having the bed frame painted white.
eztia I changed my mind about changing the bed frame to white. On second thought, it looks as if you were very careful to match the bedding to the bed frame and the pretty flower design painted on it.
Natalie Hi again. I went browsing to find a photo of the deeper hues I also suggested-Grenadine and Coming Up Roses---found these pics. The color in these 2 photos is most accurate/true to the actual color. Do note the bed is white and the carpet is comparable to yours. I hope you find it helpful. Looking forward to seeing whatever you decide. Good Luck!

I would like to see some white somewhere. How about a white coverlet and the quilt folder at the bottom of the bed?
