Need a Rug for our Living Room
silence182
January 3, 2013 in Design Dilemma
We are just starting to really furnish our home (that we bought 5 years ago!) and we need a rug for our Living Room.

We originally had this seagrass rug in the natural color (http://www.potterybarn.com/products/color-bound-seagrass-rug/?cm_src=AutoRel)

Pottery Barn usually has a lot of things that we like, but they are pricey. I have two toy breed dogs and two kids under 4. I was drawn to this rug, but I'm not sure it fits with our current decor: http://www.potterybarn.com/products/scroll-tile-rug-terra-cotta/

If you choose that Pottery Barn rug, it will be the dominant thing in your decor. Is that what you are looking for? With kids and two dogs, a rug that does not show spots would be a good choice.

Check out www.homedecorators.com They have a ton of rugs and the prices are reasonable.

the Pottery Barn Morrocan rug is a great choice. It will make the room warm and inviting. In the summer you may want a cooler look so get the seagrass one too and add turquoise pillows on your sofa.

Hi, Silence. We noticed you felt Pottery Barn may be a bit spendy for rugs and thought you may want to browse our selection as well. We've filtered this link to wool rugs (http://www.atgstores.com/wool-area-rugs_610.html?&option0=optionA=265450|18945~Valu), but you can further filter by price, color, design and many other factors. We're fans of homedecorators.com, but we do offer free shipping on a wider selection - about 10,000 more wool rugs, anyway, out of our total of 25,000+ area rugs. We've posted images of a few hand-woven wool rugs we thought you may like and hope this gives you more ideas. Good luck with your search!
