Love my contemporary shutters but feel like that ' window wall ' needs some softness. Suggestions please

Add some curtains to the sides to soften it up.

I would keep the draperies quite neutral, natural linen or such. Solid color but textural. I would add a great patterned rug to the area, and simple bedding, with great colorful pillows.

Make sure they are full and if possible, able to close. You have plenty of room to stack them each side, and the volume of fabric is luxury in a bedroom.
