Paradise Restored Landscaping & Exterior Design Like your varied seating/groupings - Red is difficult in outdoor setting but in this case - great without too many plantings to throw off the color - like how red was used with intensity and then sparsely - Very nice!

designideas4me sorry I meant to post the following pic. The above pic you can see that the area I need lighting is in the top right cornor. I am very limited on space around the pool but lighting is an issue as is what to put in the middle of that fence for visual interest out the back window and height for privacy. The pic below shows the space which now has a full bed style seating with 2 ottomans and 1 chaise sectional and 2 small tables and curtains and no iron bench. I wanted you to see from this perspective to give me ideas .

Elan Designs Hello Designideas4me,

What a great outdoor space you got! Here are a few suggestions regarding your questions:

1.Landscaping Lighting Solution:
You can add several flood lights along the fence, which will light up the plants and increase lighting for the whole perimeter.

Here is an example of the flood light and they are available in solar or low voltage

2.Patio / Cabana Lighting Solution:
Since there is existing light source from the can light, you can ask the contractor to replace the can light with several pendent light. Depends on the pendent you choose, they can be hang in a cluster in different height or spaced out.

Check out: “Fisherman’s Pendent” by Pottery Barn

Another simple solution will be adding some candle powered pendent, lantern or wall sconce to create ambient light.

Check out:
“Malta Lantern” from Pottery Barn
“Iron Lantern” form Horchow

3.Fireplace:
Due to limited space, I would recommend moving the two ottomans closer to the pool to accommodate partial enclosed fireplace.

Check out:

“Arc fireplace” by Chiasso

4.Fence Wall Décor:

Have fun decorating !

Crystal Chavez I love the use of red mixed in with all the neutrals, it ties in nicely without looking too matchy-matchy! Kudos!
