Living room layout help

January 7, 2013 in Design Dilemma
I just moved into a new house, and the living room is long and narrow. I'm struggling with couch / coffee table / TV placement. I'd like to keep it somewhat open, but also be able to keep the seating with a good view of the TV. Any placement ideas (or decorating suggestions) are appreciated!

One sofa under window on 9' wall. One sofa on 10' wall. A square table + lamp in corner, between sofas. In this photo, the fireplace would be your TV area.
