Need help selecting a color to paint the kitchen cabinets and island
I have black granite counters and backsplash, stainless steel appliances and maple floors. I am having my cabinets painted. I'm looking for a white, but don't want a bright white or yellowy white. Any advice? I'm looking for Benjamin Moore colors. I'm also deciding whether to do the same color on the island or choose another color - a dark, green or gray? Ideas? P.S. I'm changing the wall color too, but I'll work on that next (unless you've got a great idea to share now!) THANKS for your help!

judyg BM Simply White. It is my go-to white.

I would paint the walls either white, BM Stratton blue or, If you dare, (I have seen this is a kitchen just like yours) Black.

hdyer We also have black granite and painted our cabinets a medium grey, our walls white. If you choose white cabinets you could mix it up do your island in charcoal or black. You could consider changing the countertop on the island to a white/light grey quartz to soften all the hard shiny black.
