Would these rugs look okay in same open area? Red circle one under kitchen round table and flower one in front of couch?

They would look great! I'd add a few blue or orange accessories (dish towels, curtains, etc.) to the kitchen.

I love them. When you say 'together' you probably don't mean to have them right next to the other. I think they complement each other beautifully.
