From Dated to Dazzling!
Our original kitchen when we purchased the house was the 2nd iteration of a kitchen that this 1900 Colonial home knew--done likely in the 1940s. Obviously, a rehab/renovation was in order. So, we did--during an expansion of the home, we gut renovated the kitchen, and expanded it so that the Great Room was a lovely 34 feet by 20 feet, with custom cabinetry, a new hand cut mosaic backsplash designed and created by me (http://www.mosaicsbyariel), and new appliances. It's beautiful, has clean modern lines, and is completely functional for our busy life with two young kids and all the entertaining we like to do!
