Need help finding 2 sliding barn doors
Hello! I am currently building my first house and are hoping to install 2 barn doors outside our office vs. traditional pocket doors. We pretty far along the building process and am very surprised that the builder only knows of very "polished" and clean doors...however we are looking for doors with more character. Does anyone know how my husband and I can go about this without spending over $1000+? I've looked on craigslist and etsy...but has anyone had success elsewhere?

I'm normally resourceful and extremely savvy with using the web to locate vendors but have encountered difficulties with this. I've attached pics for what we're trying to achieve.

chelseabeagle My hubby and I just built our home this past summer and we plan to do the same with our Master Bathroom. Have you tried local auctions or Habitat Re Stores?

pandora3a I've always loved the look of hanging barn doors & came across this website for barn door kits. They carry many combinations you can choose from. They sell just the hardware, just the barn doors, hardware & barn doors combo, or hardware and glass door combo. Click on their gallery for photos and many options of styles! Have fun!

Deborah Butler, Brickwood Builders Rustica has a good product as per above. You might also find something at an architectural salvage company that is interesting.
