colorkat3 To me the curtain is light, airy, and cutesy which doesn't fit with the bold slate tiles. Is the green rug something your trying to decide on also?

colorkat3 The curtain needs to match the floor's intensity. What color are the walls? Is the vanity white or stained?

abbshel There's nothing wrong with greens or blues. You need more of a grey-blue, or grey-green though. Maybe a striped curtain and solid rug.

colorkat3 I also have small bathrooms in my house. To keep it feeling open and bigger it's best to go with a light color such as white, cream, or soft gray. Are you set on going with a bold color?

curacaoblue I'm sorry but it clashes. The curtain is too airy for that bold floor. I would choose something simpler. Maybe ivory. The baskets are a good idea too

Kearney the style of that curtain is totally wrong for the sytle of the room - need something more contemporary

Natalie Hi---don't be discouraged, those colors are fine---just need to paint the walls a saturated purple to balance the hues. Keep towels, lights, etc. crisp and white or dove gray... Check colors: SW 6971 Morning Glory and Ben Moore's-1421 Bistro Blue and 2116-20 Vintage Wine. Pics for inspiration showing how colors work together. Hope this is helpful. Good Luck! Angela Pascoe The wall is tile all the way to the ceilling, yakarta blanco on the facing wall and the grey from floor to ceiling above tub, so no painting. Just need shower curtain and rugs.
