Lighting Consult - Idea?
I have NO taste. What type of lighting should go above this table? I do like things elegant and somewhat modern. Table is dark brown with cracked glass in the middle. It is a square shape and seats 8.

I think the gold lighting fixture (which came with the house) looks cheap. Looking to make it look more elegant. Any links to a REASONABLE priced light fixture? Even if you provide the style and idea, i can see about matching that style in my price range. Please help! :)

cassidyd I would suggest using a large drum pendant. You can find them at any big box home improvement store.

Frank Webb's Bath and Lighting Center I would suggest if you are going to go with a modern drum fixture over the table then find a new home for the rocking chair and the lamp on the end table is too tall, it looks like a buffet lamp which is tall and skinny with a small shade, try to find something that you won't see the lightbulb when you are sitting on the sofa, and have the shade match as close as possible the one over the table
