Bedroom renovation recommendations
I am in the process of renovating my bedroom. Can you please make some recommendations. I started with new lamps and realize I should have added them at the end. Can you also make some suggestions for furniture and wall coverings. The room gets a lot of light and I can go dark on the walls. Thanks.

losmommie @sylvia I love the wall color have you ever thought about maybe doing all white furniture and maybe a button headboard

judyg Like the wall color and the lampshades with it. losmommie says white and I agree. This room is a little darker than yours, but something like what we have in mind, if I can speak also for losmommie.

ruburr what type of furniture do you have in the room. Perhaps you could supply a couple more pictures.
What about white bedding...like a a real crisp white duvet

Do you have any artwork you could hang in the room

nikitasmom The lampshades are lovely. I feel a vibe of old hollywood glamor meets stainless steel. I 2nd the idea of a plush fabric headboard.

losmommie @sylviacan you attach a better picture of your window? What type of vibe are you going with your bedroom

abbshel I'm a big fan of a shade, sheers, or blinds in the window, and then open drapery panels hung from the ceiling to floor. I think this would look good in your room. Your current window treatment seems too dark and is minimizing your window.
What direction do you want to go? Your lamps seem more contemporary but your furniture and bed treatments are more traditional.

zlaronde Those lamps are calling for a hollywood glam look, like nikitasmom suggested.
