Need help with window treatments for these windows.....
What would you do with these windows? I'm having a hard time figuring this out because of the combined shapes of the windows and the high vaulted ceilings. The dining room needs protection from the summer sun and the windows are set back leaving a 16" ledge. The living room windows don't get direct sun but tend to heat up the room in the summer. Both windows can be seen from the large entry way that seperates the two rooms. Would love to hear any ideas!

constancewahlig Plantation shutters...vanes at least 2 1/2 to 3 inches. You will be able to control heat, light and privacy.

Shades IN Place Agree! Due to the arch shape, Plantation shutters would be a perfect product. The top windows could be operated by remote control. Since the windows are big, you are better off going with large louvers: 3.5" or 4.5"
