Top of stairs decor
I'm having a hard time deciding what I should put at the top of the stairs? Any suggestions?

Dar Eckert One colorful piece of art. Make it larger 3' tall 2' wide. You also need something at the bottom landing and some beautiful graphic wall paper would be nice.

jansgirl Add a very narrow, simple table or even wall shelf and a great piece of large art.

Jayme Hobbs Agreed an eye-catching piece is needed...few examples of vertical pieces: please ignore towel bar under the metal scultpture it is not attached. Also, a lovely area rug/runner could be hung there too. And the pics are vertical pieces although they don't look like it in these shots. Differ. styles to view.

Jayme Hobbs I am deliberately putting multiple styles...the square-appearing ones are actually vertical. Runners and rugs used on the wall can be very appealing/reasonably priced.
