Framing bathroom mirror
I want to frame out the large mirror over my vanity and can't decide be white or black . Walls at gray, cabinet, vanity and tub (etc) are white; however I've decorate with black . Black iron piece on wall at tub, black candlesticks around tub, black framed full length mirror on wall and black an white flower print (black frame) in to lift area .
BLACK OR WHITE frame around vanity?

help and thanks

luv2naach Do black, because it will really bring out the more subtler blacks, like the candles and add a contrast to the surrounding white wall

Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design Definitely black. It's a part of the vanity and should match it.

Karen Tiede Art Rugs Test with duct tape and see which you prefer.

Chandani I would do white. The frame is more or less permanent, as are the main pieces in your bath. The accessories may be black, but when you get tired of them, you will change them up for something else.

John Seiffert White, and don't forget to paint back of trim as the reflection will show it.

Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design My sincerest apologies for inadvertently writing "black" when I meant white! White, white, white! Thank you, amiewh, for pointing it out to me. I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to this dilemma!

Matteo Dezigns Why not do a frame in silver or silver leaf. Your home improvement stores should have some nice 'silvery' options.
