Moving onto a new place
We just got this condo and would like to paint the walls variances of light grey. The picture here is from the previous owners. We have a coffee colored sectional couch. But that's about it. Any ideas on colors or additional furniture to buy?

Darzy If you sofa color is coffee, I wouldn't do the gray walls. How about mixing it up a bit and adding smokey blue, orange, or tan walls and an accent wall color? For an accent chair, go bold. : )

kazzy918 That's good advice. Here is the couch.

Darzy I like your couch selection. Since you are starting all neutral...what color makes you feel "good". For accent?

kazzy918 Thanks! It's a comfy couch! I'm so used to apartment white that everything seems overwhelming. I would probably be comfortable with light blues or greens but thought these wall colors were too "browny" if that makes sense.

Jayne Miller Have a consult. Most paint stores like Sherwin Williams has you buy a gift card for 75.00 then you use the gift card at their store, basically it's free. I like the grey idea it looks nice with the browns. Just has to be the right grey. Grey is the new neutral.

Darzy If you like blues and greens (and wanted gray walls) how about a slate blue (blue/gray) wall color? You could mix in blues (and greens) in your accent colors. It would look lovely.
