Need help with Exterior look of our
Need help with Exterior look of our house. We have a timber house that was built in the mid 80's and are looking at updating the look of it and was wondering whether we could use the sheet type cladding and go over the top of the timber? or any other ideas would be helpful. We also have a lot of lattice that we want to replace with something else, any suggestions? (pls refer to our pics)

decoenthusiaste Looks to be a cool house. Is that teak or ceder at the top of the stairs? I would tend to match that for a replacement of the lattice. If that is what you want to cover up, I'd discourage you. Make the most of it and maybe add some stone or cement siding like in # 1 or 4 below.
