Colour advice weatherboard beach house
Simon Carroll
January 15, 2013 in Design Dilemma
Looking to change colours of our house, we are wanting a modern beach house theme, will be adding window awnings also. I'm thinking grey boards, black detailing (downpipes, deck, guttering, etc, with white window frames. Not sure for the underside of the house though, I painted it with a grey colour a while back, would a lighter grey work on the boards or should we start again?
Suggestions?

I also think a darker colour like several in the above photos would look great.

Lots of great photos from AMN, my favorite would be the "Jewell Street Addition Eco Home...".

Beautiful home.

I would opt for a blue grey, similar to 1095 Royal York.
