Help, need media storage and possible seating in L-shaped family room

olldbobbi I think I would look for a tall cabinet that could house both the tv and the media storage. Right now your fireplace appears to be overpowering the tv.

Lisa Wells I would think about built in's around the fire place. Check out Ikea's living room storage. Good Luck!

Matteo Dezigns I would suggest putting the TV over the fireplace and consider getting a U shape sectional and place it facing the fireplace/tv. On the wall on the right side of the fireplace, I would put a nice buffet cabinet (starting about 2 feet from the fireplace). Take the mirror from the mantle above the fireplace and hang above the new cabinet. You can use the cabinet for media storage.
