Help! Dining room needs your suggestions!
Although it's normal in Scotland to not draw curtains at night, I think I could use a window treatment to make it more cosy for dining. There's nothing on the windows at all at the moment and I'm stuck for choice. I really need some ideas!
First window 2.5m x 1.25m (measured inside frame): four panels, right-hand one stained glass
Second window (bay window with bookcases):
left 0.65m x 1.4m
centre 3.05m x 1.4m
right 0.65 x 1.4m
Third window (above inglenook seating): 0.85m x 0.7m

decoenthusiaste Can't determine how the windows open, but would you consider flat fabric roman shades? Easy to make if you can sew, and since there are rads and book cases all around these won't interfere.

JMittman Designs Looks to be a very casual dining area. How about simple cafe curtains on a nice wrought iron rod?
