Dining room help
My kitchen, dining and living is open concept...my dining area is boring and needs some help. The space is not very big.

pcmom1 Is a new table possible? Your current one seems very traditional and the space more modern. Perhaps the chairs could be painted black and cushions added that match your window valance.

You could gain a more spacious feel by putting a built in bench along the wall with the photos.

Posting more photos of the whole space from different angles would help.

pcmom1 A couple of things: the curtains behind the table are very much blocking the window. Is that for a reason?

And the chandelier over the table seems much too high.

You could try out your rug under the dining table and also hang that lovely piece of art there instead of the photo collection. Place that great wood bowl from the coffee table onto the middle of the dining table. Have some strong person help you and then repost pictures?

Jennifer Landry I have the curtains closed as it is night time, the window is sliding doors. I will try and get a large pice of art for dining room, because I don't want to lose the art in my living room. Carpet may be tricky in the dining area...I have a 3yr old : ). I like the idea if the bench and painting the chairs!
