Bathroom Vanities
I have 5 bedrooms, across a 3 level home. Is it a good idea to have different color vanities in each room? Is it better to have different colors for each floor? Is it better to have them all the same color?
Hmmm?

Interiors International, Inc. Any of the above is the answer. If you do all the same it unifies the space. I do that when I'm working with small homes or condos. With a house your size feel free to mix it up if you like.

carolannr I always feel it adds continuity to the build. It also depends on how long you plan stay in that home. For resale, I always advise sticking to a good quality cabinet style througout, similar flooring too. Unless you have had to deal with a neon green tile master bath with a mirror on the ceiling, you just never know what a mish-mosh of design some homes can really get to be.

Vera Beaman Design Consultant Ward Brown Builders I am not fond of the cookie cutter look.If it is your home I think a little personality in each room is interesting .. as long as the styles flow.

Vera Beaman Design Consultant Ward Brown Builders keep some thing from each room and incorporate it into the next room .be it floors, cabinet styles, paint color, jump it thru the home. Example if you have white cabinets with shaker door use same door style and change color..or keep the same flooring in all baths or take a color from one room that is an accent and use it as the main color in the next room. lauriaj I agree, keep something about the bones of the bathrooms the same but give them each their own unique personality. That way you have both continuity AND character!

Vera Beaman Design Consultant Ward Brown Builders You should be able to look around your home and see something in another room that blends with where you are. Hope that makes sense.
