Opinions ????
What do you think about the glassware on the sideboard? Out of proportion?? Any ideas on what would look fabulous?

anitajoyce I think you should remove them .They don't add anything to the space. They kinda blend in with the mirror because of the color. The area needs some contrast. How about a small plant and some candles instead?

lcgrcondo The lamps are great and I do not think you need the glassware. If you want something else in the middle between the lamps, I would keep it much lower like a low glass dish or tray. if you are attached to the glassware, then remove one lamp and place the 3 glass pieces on the other end, perhaps on a small tray.

Holly Mayeux I would say that the upright shape of the glasses is too similar to the lamps. A lower long decorative footed vase with some objects in it, a rectangular decorative box, or perhaps a horizontal floral arrangement might work better there and be more interesting visually.

christinesherriff Yes, the glasses are too large. They're beautiful, but not right for this space. Some things like this might be nice:

Jayme Hobbs Could you use the glasses on the dining table or in a china hutch?

rtrvogel I have a very large floral arrangement in the middle of my Dinning room table. Would like to replace it with something smaller

rtrvogel I love that arrangement.

rtrvogel Yes, that would be more to scale than what I currently have. Thank you.

Natalie Hi---move the lamps in closer from the edge, remove one maybe, add silver tray or box, fresh flowers/plant, crystal, etc. Pic for inspiration. Good Luck!

sjkingston The large floral arrangement looks like its fighting the chandelier. Consider removing and on the sideboard put a large lighter colored patterned deep oval bowl with orchids on the dining table. It can be moved to the side board when you're actually using the table.

I think you might like this florentine tray on your sideboard. Beautiful furniture by the way!

rtrvogel Thank you for all of the suggestions. Love the idea of the orchids on the table. I inherited my grandmothers silver tea set, will try that on the sideboard.

Winward Designs You can move the two glasses to one side and add a shorter but longer decor item. If you like flowers, this one could make the area pop. http://www.winwarddesigns.com/collections/flower-types-other/products/tropical-bouganvilia-arrangement
