Curb appeal help
Recently bought our home and are having a difficult time figuring out what to do for curb appeal. Any help/thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Stone & Land, LLC Your location helps if you want ideas on specific plant material. I'm a big fan of getting a little court yard out front if you have the budget to redo some walkways. It also liberates you from only doing foundation plants and gives you an outdoor room to look out onto. You could anchor the corner of the patio with a small patio tree, out away from the house but maybe centered in the gap between the 2 windows. Just a start.

Aja Mazin Lovely home!

Add some interest with simple landscaping!

I suggest a tree that grows well in your area.

Each tree, thoughtfully placed and planted will increase the value of your home,

Do you want to paint?

Tres McKinney Design Stone &Land's recommendation about creating a little courtyard would add interest and a welcoming aspect to your home. I would also consider painting the house either a dark gray, taupe or sage green. There are not definitive architectural features to the house so focus on a beautiful garden design.

yvonnecmartin Consult with a landscape architect to give you a plan to work on over timel

However, the first step should be to widen the front sidewalk so that two people can walk side-by-side.

ajacksonbird I would paint the home a dark gray with white trim. I would also add shutters to the larger windows on both sides of the door -those white also. You could change your door to a dark walnut wood with nice handles. Some new soil, and some more plants. Nice place!
