Need a New Fence Idea for Rebuilt House
The green remnant in the photo extended along sidewalk 25 ft on either side of our house (skirting a parking patch on the right side).
Walking neighbors were surprised and pleased to see city view when we took it down. Front section of house is an "earthquake cottage" from 1906 San Francisco earthquake. (The green fence was 8 ft., though top two feet were open.) We were going "See's Candies" on the house -- white, black trim, chocolate roof and unpainted doors. Can't figure out size, shape, style, or color (or stone?) for the next fence. Any ideas? Thanks!

Dytecture Here is one example with opaque glass.

auroracanby Thanks, Dytecture. I kind of like the glass idea, but not that high, unless it's clear (view) -- maybe 4 feet high or so under a varnished wood rail?

Gwendolyn Johnson Design, LLC Does it need to be a fence? It could be plantings that vary in height: taller where you want privacy, and lower to allow the view to be seen.

auroracanby Duuuh - That's one I hadn't thought of -- maybe because we've never quite gotten the garden
together especially on the left. But plans are to put in a garden, trail etc. I'll ask garden designer. Thanks!
