Living room colors - open to kitchen, navy couch
we were going for sage green and ended up with a pea green. i want desperately to change/update paint and replace all furniture except navy couch, put tv above fireplace (take focus off tv). like nature colors/themes and love blues and greens. i like chocolate and blue too. we plan on wood/laminate flooring in a honey oak (on the darker side thereof). i have a few things in the living room i like and want to use in the room but find it may all be too much going on color wise and i don't have the eye to put it together myself. i need a grown up, cozy living room to have people over. what colors of paint, furniture, with navy couch, chocolate curtains?

groveraxle Green and navy blue is a wonderful combo. I would not introduce chocolate brown. Keep it simple. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, here are a few thousand:

olldbobbi Navy, gray and white are also beautiful together. Keeping your navy sofa, I would paint the wall above the chair rail gray, and below it navy. Keep all your molding and trim white. [houzz=

Dytecture I agree, just pick one color in addition to the navy blue.
