Need help finishing decorating fireplace.

What you have there is a great start. I would either hang a picture or find a taller object to 'fill' up that area.

HI -- Find a much bigger vase that is the color of the two smaller ones and tuck that behind into the corner and then remove the little trees on the right and left . All you need are the three vases . OR find a large framed mirror or painting to prop into the corner , but still not have the little trees.

for the painting, picture or mirror what size and which kind of frame should I get? also hang it on the left or right side ?

if the mantle is wide enough i would prop up a large picture on top instead of trying to hang it in that odd corner. also i agree with above comments: lose the little topiaries!
