shiumbe i love the curtains but i want to brighten the room with a good colour of paint,what colour of carpet should i put? what colur of cudhions should i put? i also want to break with a nother colour on the entertainment wall...what colour should it be?
SassyDebb Graham My living room is also black , I added white to it and a small amount silver decor(small peices]. I love your curtains, however to make my living room come alive, I use different black and white prints, I made throw pillows all different prints and my drapes are with print of black and white, I painted wall pics with a black and white abstract of diff shapes as well. If you can't paint you can print and frame. also I painted little wall shelves for some old family pics that I printed out black and white. I painted some of the shelves black and then painted the frame mirrors one black and one white. Lamps I redecorated to fit my theme. To top it all off, I put two black area rugs on the carpet. I have one round long coffee table with glass top and two end tables that match the coffee table with glass tops. White scented candles gave it that home feeling. . The mirrors are large and that brings in more light through the french doors. Just a thought you may like to try. I live in an apartment , that gets no direct sunlight. Daylight but no sun. SassyDebb Graham Yes like those in picture, also geometric shapes as well. Poka Dots really work and circles as well. Fabric doesn't matter. and at least one black pillow and one white pillow to your liking. You can find these at thrift shops and or garage sales for little as nothing, Sorry that design on a dime thinking kicks in again. giggling.
SassyDebb Graham I would stay away from the red as it throws the room off balance, however the black and white fabric is most awesome. I have one pillow similar to those.
