Please help with lighting in dining/kitchen 100 inch by 29 inch farm style table

My kitchen is a very dark room with an eat in dining area. My table is farm style 100 inch long by 29 inch wide. It fits great and we enjoy it. The prior owner has their light fixture hung off center and very high and it needs replacing. I am having a very hard time deciding on the size and the number of fixtures that i need. I need light, the current fixture uses 5 60 w bulbs and i don't really want less light than that. I think maybe using two pendants of about 16 inches would look good. I like globe shapes and bowl shapes best, and would love prism glass, milk glass, or mercury glass to hide bulbs but increase light output. Thank you for any help you can offer, spending way too much time on this decision! Those silver things on table are 11 inch bowls trying to help me see scale of something that size.

Your chandeliers should be about 17 inches wide, two would be perfect. I have 2 over my DR table. Here's the ideabook article Ideabook: Hang the Perfect Light Over Your Holiday Table

I liked these Marina Residence Modern Globe Pendant
