Hannah Gould bright or dull red stripe "behind" the fireplace. not exceeding the edges of the actual fireplace width (not the mantle) and all the way up to the ceiling. it will make the white stand out, make a easier visual backdrop for your tv and it will get that color in there without a lot of clutter.
