Any ideas to spruce up our fire place? Our home has accents of red.

Looks good to me as it is. But, if you want to be bold...paint the surround red laquer. :) Or, put a couple red stools in front to pop the red and sit by the fire.

bright or dull red stripe "behind" the fireplace. not exceeding the edges of the actual fireplace width (not the mantle) and all the way up to the ceiling. it will make the white stand out, make a easier visual backdrop for your tv and it will get that color in there without a lot of clutter.
