Color for walls
We will be white washing the fireplace and the bar. The built in unit will be removed. We are going for a coastal theme. What colors would you suggest for the walls? Of course need new lighting. Just settled on new home.

Walter Frazier Why not paint the walls sailcloth? I like the ceiling fans and their color works maybe but the track lighting is not coastal. Wish I could see the windows without the cornice boards.

olldbobbi For coastal you can think white, tan and light blue -surf, sand and sky. That is one huge room!

michigammemom I second olldbobbi's suggestions. Keep the room light, bright and breezy.

elklaker What a great room! Please keep the pictures coming. What a difference a light, airy color scheme will make.

Carolina Photo To Go LLC Since you have hardwoods, it is a good idea to choose an area rug and repeat one of the colors for accessories.
