A. Peltier Interiors They go but like melissa210 asked, what are the plans for the rest of the kitchen? Pull everything together so you can make sure you are happy with the entire space before you install something you cant change. I love the cabinets though!
sam0705 I like the counter and the cabinets, but for me the flooring looks too similar to the countertop. Is it tile? What about doing something sleeker and a bit lighter for the floor. Maybe those cement or stranded porcelain tiles in a rectangular shape?
Stoneshop I have the same feeling as sam0705--the floor tile and countertops match almost perfectly. Right now, all of your selections are a chocolate color, and you need some contrast. For flooring, how about travertine tile? Or a porcelain tile that looks like travertine?
MarbleWarehouse.com I think you need light color for your flooring, something like Crema Marfil Marble tile or bianco wood Marble tile can be perfect idea.
gingerclaire Chocolate? I think Stoneshop needs some better chocolate. Unless my monitor is displaying colours inaccurately, everything looks very pale grey. I agree with the comments above, I think at least one of the elements needs to provide a contrast otherwise your kitchen could end up looking a bit bland. I would probably suggest a soapstone countertop.
What are your thoughts regarding backsplash and wall colours to go with your kitchen?
melissa210 I can't go and change the flooring .. It's been ordered already :s but I like your ideas. The paint color is called shifting sands. It's a light brown with grey undertone. Don't have a black splash yet picked out. We are getting and island that is white so that will add contrast
