What to put behind an awkward diagonal tv space
Recently, my husband and I moved the furniture around in our tiny 600 sqft apartment to create a bit more space. We decided to put the tv on a diagonal which opened up the living room tremendously. However, now we have the back side of the tv and stand showing as soon as you walk into the apartment. We have been trying to think of things that we can put behind the tv to make it look decent. Any ideas?

mmilos Personally, I think I would look for a corner media cabinet to fit your TV and then have a contractor build a small half wall behind it... This would give your entry space some definition as well... Wonder if this could be done in your apartment?

Cancork Floor Inc. Yep. Corner media cabinet...with or without small wall behind. I a quick, cheap, fix would be a corner cabinet/TV stand. Ikea, etc. have dozens of them...all price ranges, all sizes.

carolannr How about a skinny bookshelf facing the door to back it up?

Darzy How about a folding screen/room divider behind the tv? Or a bushy plant?
