Building a house - Should I pay to add tile accents?

ejc2011January 26, 2013
We are building a house and have the option to add a tile accent in the kitchen and master bathroom. The tile will be placed in a diagonal pattern and we have the option to have the small square pattern as an accent. Is it worth it?

The pictures of the tile in the kitchen and bathroom is another tile design but shows the layout.

I do like the added touch. If it is a builder model and there are other ones in the community then I would want to do something original. It might be a bit more of an up-grade but would be worth it.
