Bathroom design help!
We are remodeling our kids bathroom, which is also the guest bath. We bought this vanity, which we love, but it is a little "serious". We will be doing a white subway tile in the tub and I am uncertain with what type of flooring to choose. We were thinking of a wood tile, until we chose the wood vanity. Now, I'm not sure, white floors and white walls seems a little dull...I'm seeking ideas to make the bathroom kid friendly and fun, while still keeping it beautiful and welcoming for guests.

Darzy Nice vanity! I like the look of this floor tile. It looks like linen.

onthefence I've seen pics here of a few wood tiles that are lighter in tone and I think would compliment this really well. Maybe something like one of these?

Kevin Wild - IBB Designer I think a simple light inexpensive tile floor. Even a wood tile floor would still work. I don't feel like it's too much wood.

Here are some great examples:

Meddline_projects It´s beautifull.. i love it! =)

i just think you should paint the wood part, or give it some treatment like sanding to give it a younger look..

pupu4u Thanks for the great ideas, i I use a neutral colored floor, would you suggest bringing a color into the wall tile to make the bathroom more youthful?

Marina Madaleno yes, a little bit of color is great! Choose someone you like.. ; )

njmomma I think to make the bathroom more youthful, I would bring in some playful pictures for the walls or even a playful saying. Something that can be changed out in years to come.
