Ideas on Glass wall?
Hello,

So ive taken all these blocks out of my wall to open it up and now im trying to figure out what to do with this big hole.

The opening is 6ft long by about 3ft or so high,

I was thinking shutters that open and close?

The first picture is from the living room looking at the wall.
Second picuture is from my bedroom
Let me know what you got.

Tracy Taylor I think shutters would be fine if you need to feel closed off, but you could also consider sliding art glass, resin, or acrylic panels http://www.3-form.com

fbmbirds IDK i was also thinking possible glass water wall? with lights that change colors. i can drop the wall nearly down to the floor in the bedroom to make this happen. then it can be 6ft wide by like 4-5ft high then build the water wall.

Sharolyn Schroeder i think you should wall it in completely. You don't need glass or shutters. I think you just need t paint your house to give it some color. It's just too white. Maybe a butter yellow or sage green even a nice taupe is better than white.

fbmbirds I was thinking what if i just did a barn door style opening?

Sharolyn Schroeder in my opinion I would do double french doors opening in the middle out. this way when you open the doors it gives you a indoors/outdoors feel to it. It would bring charm to your living room. If your house had a country cottage look then I'd add barn doors but with your house it doesn't fit the style.
